Class Prayers

Prayer is an important part of life at St Francis'. 

In Year 3, we ask the children to learn new prayers. The prayers they learn are Act of Sorrow (Contrition) in preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Angelus. We also retrain the prayers that we have already learnt. In the months of October and May we also say the prayers of the Rosary to remember Mary the Mother of God.

3S Class Prayer 

Dear God,

Thank you for being our creator. We pray for Jesus Christ. Thank you for sending your son to save us. Thank you  for our family and friends. Thank you for giving us this wonderful day to be your disciples of light. Thank you for everything. Help us to love others as we love you. Please help us with our journey though Year three and help us to make the right choice. Help us to do our best work and listen in class. Please help us to have the best handwriting that we can have. Please help us to show care to our world and be kind to everyone we meet.
