Class Prayers

Prayer is an important part of life at St Francis'. 

In Year 2, we ask the children to learn new prayers. The prayers they learn are The Faith and Hope, Eternal Rest, the Prayer of St Francis of Assisi and the Rosary. These are listed below and it would useful if you could share them with your children at home.

Below are the prayers we share with the children throughout the school day.

Class Prayer – 2R

Dear God,

Help us to follow Jesus and be like Saint Francis.

Help us to be kind to each other, show respect and share with others.

Help us to show love to everyone and help others.

Help us to listen to our friends and teachers. 

Help us to treat others how we would like to be treated and care for everyone.

Help us to think of others who are less fortunate than us.

Amen.
